One of the biggest churches of Nagaland is the Baptist Mother church, also known as the Baptist church or the Mokokchung Church. This church is known to follow Baptized principles. There are a total of 5000 families as well as 15000 baptized followers of this church. Hundreds of worshippers come to this church every Sunday to offer their prayer and seek blessings. The Church is amongst the famous tourist attractions in Mokokchung.

Mokokchung is an ancient village belonging to Mokokchung District of the former Naga Hills of Nagaland. The word Mokokchung when literally translated means a group of people who left their motherland rather unwillingly.

These caves are situated between the valleys of Dikhu and Tzula Rivers. Towns Tuli and Changtongya are near these caves. Located in the midst of natural beauty in the Langpangkong mountain range, these caves are believed to have given shelter to an Ahom King.
