Bharat Mandir, also known as the Mother India Temple, is located in Haridwar's Motichur. This temple is one of the most visited temples in Haridwar.
Bharat Mandir is a famous multi-story temple in Mother India, built to honor the dedication of all patriots and freedom fighters. This shrine was founded by Swami Satya Mitranandgiri. It was launched by the late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi, 1983. The 180-foot-high temple is eight stories high, with different themes dedicated to multiple legends and gods on each floor. In addition, Bharat Mandir is dedicated to all patriotic freedom fighters who have contributed to the freedom of the country. There is an elevator system to access the upper floors of the temple.

Har Ki Pauri was constructed by King
Vikramaditya in memory of his brother, Brithari in 1st century BC. It is said
that Brithari used to mediate on the banks of River Ganges. Har Ki Pauri, one
of the most famous places in Haridwar, is believed to be the precise spot where
the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains.

Rajaji National Park is a
Tiger Reserve situated at the edge of the sprawling Dehradun Valley.
The park is spread over an area of 820.42 sq. km. in
Dehradun, Haridwar & Pauri Garhwal districts of Uttarakhand. It
is one of the must visit national parks in India.
Motichur Wildlife Sanctuary, which covers
about 90 sq. km, was carved out of Dehradun forests in the year 1966.
Similarly, Rajaji Wildlife Sanctuary was formed from the Shivalik forests and
Chilla Wildlife Sanctuary from the Landsowne forests in 1967 and 1974
respectively. The Rajaji National Park was established by merging these three
wildlife sanctuaries and named Rajaji National Park in the year 1983 after the
famous freedom fighter and the last Governor-General of India Sri C.
