Situated at a distance of 25 km from Bageshwar, this place is  said to be the battleground of the Pandavas and the Kauravas in the epic Mahabharata. A 15 km long trek from Baisani takes you to this site that offers one of the most beautiful views of the Himalayas.The view from the Pandusthal is so grand that you can even see the dangling glaciers near the peaks. For the trek, one needs to first reach Baisani by a bus or a car from Bageshwar (25 km). The trek starts from Baisani and the length of the trek is around 15 km and should be done in a day.
