The Imambara's main hall and other apartments are accessible through a wide gate located in the complex between the two buildings. The main gate has a panjaemblem atop it. This represents the Prophet Mohammed's holy five children. Near the main entrance lies NaubatKhana, also known as JiloKhana. A big drum was used to proclaim the time of day, or naubat, in this location.
