History

In 1872, Lieutenant Coaker built the Coakers Walk. It is located less than a half-mile from Kodaikanal Lake and built on a steep mountainside. Near Van Allen Hospital, the stroll begins and ends above St. Peter's Church on the main road. Visitors' safety is ensured by the mountain's edge fencing the walkway. The Dolphin's snout and the city of Madurai may be found to the south of the Coakers Walk in the Pambar Valley. People of various ages visit the area, which has nice to chilly weather most of the year.
