History

A popular tourist attraction, Kodaikanal is one of the best places to live a relaxing life for a few days. Mountain stations offer a variety of options to keep tourists busy. One of the best examples of this is Bear Shola Falls. The waterfall, 2 km from Lake Kodaikanal, is 3 km from the bus stop. Located in a protected forest, Bear Shola Falls is the perfect picnic spot for a relaxing environment with your loved ones in the lush greenery. The path from the arterial road runs through a dense forest in the middle of a quiet place. Aside from the majestic waterfalls, walking in the woods is a wonderful experience. The waterfall is about 40 feet high and water falls into a small pool. Swimming here is safe if the water flow is not strong. This location requires a 10-minute walk from Street Point. Waterfalls attract many tourists during the monsoon season.
