History

The Government of Punjab built an Anglo-Seek War Memorial in Feroze shah to commemorate the brave Sikh soldiers who died in the fight against British troops at Mudoki Feroze Sabraon and Chellianwala. Weapons of the First Anglo-Sikh War are displayed in the hall on the first floor. Quotes from the Shah Mohammad War and the history of the Sikhs of Cunningham are engraved in bronze. Weapons were donated by the Punjab State Government from the Patiala Museum. In the hall, there are four paintings depicting the four battles. The museum has a large selection of impressive paintings by Sikh artists depicting battle scenes. Maps showing the combat formations and tactics of both sides are also interesting. The walls of the monument are also engraved with poetic poems from the pen of the modern poet Shah Muhammad. The poems explain the details of the battle in Punjab.
