History

Northern India is home to the Hindu pilgrimage site of Durgiana Mandir. It is located in Punjab's Holy Amritsar City. It's just a few feet from the train station and a little over a mile from the bus stop. As Lord Rama visited Amritsar, Maryada Parshotam, at the period of Ashemegh Yagh, this city is sacred. With their mother, Mata Sita, Lov and Kush grew up in the Ashram of Maharishi Balmiki in the Ram Tirath ashram of Ram Tirath King Ishvaku Grandson of Surya Dev Gur Shai Mal Kapoor, a wonderful visionary and religious inclined guy, came up with the concept to build Shree Durgiana Mandir as it exists now. His massive alabaster statue, which depicts him seated, has been placed just across from Darshani Deori's main entrance.
