The cool blue color sea attracts all tourists and this makes it a famous tourist destination. The beach is located roughly 6 km north of Kollam. It is a beautiful beach fringed with Coconut and Palm trees This beach is ideal for morning walk and you can have a glimpse of the fisherman getting ready to catch fishes. The water is shallow and so people can take bath in this sea. It is an ideal destination for tourists longing for tranquillity and serenity. This quiet and virgin beach provides plenty of opportunities for relaxing, swimming, sun bathing and various other activities. About one and a half kilometre into the sea is the Nyarazhcha Para, literally Sunday Rock, that can be seen from the shore at low tide. And near the beach is a Mahavishnu Temple.
