History
On the highway between Dharmshala and Palampur, the Gopalpur Zoo is located in Gopalpur Village, Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh, India. The Himalayan Dhauladhar Range encircles it. Maple trees, horse chestnut trees, chil, and other plants embellish the zoo. The Himalayan black bear, Asiatic lion, leopard, barking deer, goral, wild pigs, Bhutan grey peacocks, cheer pheasants, red jungle fowl peacocks, vultures, eagles, etc. are some of the zoo's most popular animals.
