History

The Araku Valley is primarily home to tribes, and the Tribal Museum is one of the main attractions here. There are several crafts that depict tribal crafts and tribal lifestyles. A tribal dance known as Dimsa Dance by colorfully dressed tribal people is a must-see for visitors to Araku. It is also known for its coffee plantations and is proud to produce India's first organic coffee brand for tribal farmers. Another great attraction of the Araku Valley is the Padmapuram Garden, which is frequently visited by tourists coming to Araku. The valley is also blessed with beautiful waterfalls like Sangda waterfalls and Dumbriguda waterfalls. Adventure seekers can enjoy trekking here as well.
