Lings Pavilion colaba is run by the second generation, the brothers Baba and Nini Ling and their wives. The seating in this two-storeyed restaurant modelled on a Chinese village is a throwback to 90s kitsch. Must-orders here are the salt & pepper prawns, pork soup dim sums, special roast pork (only on weekends and public holidays), spare ribs in honey pepper sauce, salt & pepper crabs, stewed pork belly with bean curd & shitake, chilli garlic fish (basa, snapper, pomfret) , beef chilli, mixed meat fried rice and seafood pan-fried noodles.
