History

Banjhakri Waterfall is a natural waterfall that comes from a higher spring. The height of the cascade is about 30 meters. Two hectares of forest have been logged and developed for the park. The theme park was invented by the Prime Minister of Sikkim, who visited the waterfall when he visited Lanka Monastery in 2004. He intended to revive people's interest in traditional shamanistic beliefs. As a result, the park has evolved into an attraction that celebrates the shamanistic traditions of the Sikkim people. An attraction in the park is an artificial lake with a dragon in the center. Pavilion; Statue of Jhakri; Statue of the ancestors of the people of Mangpas, Lepcha, and other tribes in Sikkim. Paved paths and pedestrian bridges wind through beautiful gardens adorned with decorative trees and flowers.
