History

The credit for the development of this piece of land is going to the Maharaja Maharawal Jai Singh. He built a dam in this wasteland area to serve the purpose of water shortage in the nearby villages. Soon, the water from this dam brought a remarkable relief to the whole periphery, and the area witnessed a bloom to the flora and fauna. This overjoyed the locals in the area and they were grateful for the efforts that Maharaja Maharawal Jai Singh. With his demise in 1743,  his son constructed a cenotaph( Chhatri)in his memory. After that, to recognize and valor the contribution of every of its Bhatti dynasty rulers, a brand new cenotaph got constructed every time.  It is regularly stated that a journey to the 'gleaming golden metropolis of Rajasthan' is incomplete if the cenotaphs of the royal families aren't visited.
