History

Anokhi Museum, located in a beautifully restored Haveli or mansion, displays a diverse selection of textiles printed with photographs, tools, and related objects of the ancient tradition. It is home to the world's finest woodblock prints. The Museum is a cultural initiative of the Anokhi clothing brand.  In addition to textiles and block print, the collection also features household furniture from the ancient era. The Museum's gallery is named after the information on the display such as Haveli restoration, local textiles, natural and chemical dyes, block printing and engraving tools, gold and silver printing, demonstration areas. The museum also has held a workshop on wood carving for two days for interested visitors who want to learn the art of block printing and crafts. Visitors can buy souvenirs from their extensive collection of handmade items, such as clothes, furniture, textiles, jewelry, books, maps, etc. This museum is a must for all artisans and print lovers. The Museum also offers customized exhibition tours for adults and children to provide information about the collection.
