History

The mosque is said to consist of the ruins of the University of Sanskrit, the ruins of Vigraharaja IV. Inside the temple was a temple dedicated to the goddess Saraswati. However, the original ancient building was demolished by Qutub Uddin Aibek in the 12th century. And the order was given when Mohammad Gori defeated Prithvi Raj Chauhan the famous Rajput ruler in the second battle of Terrain. The mosque was named Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra. This means a hut was built in two and a half days. The mosque was ignored by the kings of Rajasthan for many years, and after ignorance was seen in Indian archaeological investigations, the famous Marathi leader Daulat Lao Scindia restored the central dome of the mosque and forced the locals to remove the stones from the structure.
