History

The Jagatjit Palace was once the residence of the Maharaja of the state of Kapurthala, Maharaja Jagatjit Singh. This Indo-Saracenic architecture building is now inhabited by the Sainik School train boys for the National Defense Academy. The palace was built in 1908 and has a distinctive architecture that makes it worth a visit.
