An innocuous rivulet KorapaniNala plummets 244 mtr creating India’s 12th highest waterfall – the mighty Khandadhar. The ferocity of the cascading water belies its sedate origins. The waterfall derives its name from its shape which is like a Sword (khanda) Waterfall (dhara). The magnificence of the waterfall is accentuated by the lush green scenic forest, making for an awe inspiring sight. The last stretch to the waterfall is traversed by foot through the jungles which adds to the fun element when you visit Khandadhar.
