The Arakkal Museum does a great job of reflecting the amazing achievements of the Arakkal dynasty. There is an exhibition demonstrating Arakkal's fame in maritime trade, including much of the equipment. Many of the artifacts on display here prove the trade relationship between Arakkal and the European colonial powers. In addition to family heirloom and cultural heritage, other interesting exhibits include copies of the royal family of the Holy Quran, old-fashioned telephones, swords, daggers and other cannons used by the king, and even telescopes. Personal belongings such as Pattayam, the room for storing valuables, Adara Petti, the royal document holder, and the royal seal are also on display here.
