History

Alappuzha Beach, also known as Alappuzha Beach, is located in the city of Alappuzha and is a popular spot for beach enthusiasts. Like all other beaches in Kerala, this beach is known for its sunset views. The sunset on Alappuzha beach is a delight with its colorful skies of blue, gray, yellow, orange, and red. Glittering sandy beaches with swaying coconut palms attract a large number of visitors to the beach. The beach has a 150-year-old pier of ruins that stretches into the sea. In the 18th century, when Alappuzha was the main trading center of the Kingdom of Travancore, the pier was a busy place. It has been left unattended for many years, leaving only iron railings and pillars.
