A mountain pass at a height of 3557 metres is called Razdan Pass (11,672ft). It is situated on the Srinagar-Gurez route, 16 kilometres from Bandipora and 72 kilometres from Srinagar. The Gurez valley was linked to the rest of Kashmir via a road that crossed the pass.It is also known as Tragbal Pass and Rajdhan Pass, and because to the massive quantity of snowfall it gets throughout the winter, it is blocked from November to March. It used to be an essential component of the Silk Road connecting Kashmir with Central Asia.
