Nestled at the foothills of Vaibhav Hills, the hot springs in Rajgir is fed by the water from seven streams, all of which originate from the sacred, age-old Saptarni caves. The streams are collectively referred to as ‘Saptadhara’ and are believed to have major significance in Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism.The Brahmakund Spring happens to be the holiest and hottest of all springs, with its temperature being about 45 degrees Celsius. The hot springs in Rajgir are also believed to have medicinal properties that are effective for many kinds of skin diseases. There are faucets that let visitors bath here and there are separate bathing spaces for women and men.
