History
A nine-foot sculpture of Buddha in Bhumi Sparsha Mudra composed of black basalt rock, situated (near Bargaon) directly outside the bulk of ASI safeguarded Nalanda University Ruins. This a similar sanctuary named Baithak Bhairab in Cunningham's 1861–62 ASI report, recommending that the Buddha picture was in love by local people and, after its all said and done, proposing a congruity of strict action in the remnants of Nalanda. Additionally adored by Hindus as Teliya Baba, they smear the icon with oil in anticipation of independence from ongoing infirmities. New streets have been constructed which interface Mandir with the Main Road. An adequate parking spot is accessible. You can purchase a sculpture of Buddha outside the mandir, so is hair oil. Assuming the sculpture is spread with oil, it becomes dark. A lot of Buddhists from Thailand stay with this mandir. It's not heavily influenced by ASI, don't need to purchase a ticket for darshan.
