Every year, a great number of people from all across the country go to this temple to participate in the annual Durga Puja celebrations.Shiva Dol and Vishnu Dol stand on either side of Devi Dol. The base of the temple measures 120 feet in circumference, and the temple is 60 feet tall. Bolisthal is the most sacred area of the temple, devoted to the worship of Goddess Kali and Goddess Durga.
