stablished in the 1980s, Jawaharlal Nehru State Museum showcases different aspects of tribal life in Arunachal Pradesh. It also exhibits the natural heritage of the state, and thus it is quite an interesting tourist attraction in Itanagar. One can witness everything from woodcarvings to handicrafts, and musical instruments to textiles here. The ground floor of the museum has an extensive ethnographic collection, including traditional art, religious objects, musical instruments, and handicrafts, and cane products, which are reckoned to have been found during excavation at Ita Fort, Noksparbat and Malinithan in West Siang district.
