History

Before it merges with the Krishna River, this waterfall travels for around 3 kilometers. From the surrounding hills, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department created a vantage point. The Andhra Pradesh Forest Department manages a crocodile breeding facility in the pond created by the water fall, where visitors may get up close and personal with the reptiles. To maintain the water fall alive or running throughout the year for tourism purposes, water is discharged into the aforementioned streams from the Nagarjuna Sagar right bank canal.
