History
Zunhebo is named after the two words "Zunhebo" and "To" in the Sumi dialect. Zunhebo is a flowering shrub with white leaves and fluffy spikes with sweet juice inside. "A" means the top of the mountain. Zunheboto District is located in central Nagaland, adjacent to Mokqiong District to the east and Woka District to the west. Zunheboto is the home of Sumis. The Sumi are considered to be a martial arts tribe among the Nagas. They have their dances and colorful songs. Their guard of honor is worth seeing.
