In 1889, the partition was transferred again to Mokokchung. Only in 1957, when Mokokchung became a district again by creating NHTA Wokha, was the Wokha district established and the third general election was held in 1974. The other 20 electoral districts were Tuensang and Mon districts. It was in this election that during the redistricting, the number of parliamentary electoral districts in Woka district was reduced to four, which has remained there today.
