Facts & Culture
Munnar is created by merging the three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala. The hill station is 1,600 meters above sea level and served the former British government as a summer residence in South India. Neelakurinji is one of the exotic plants found in forests and meadows. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which is over 2695m. Anamudi is an ideal place for hiking. Munnar is Kerala's most popular holiday destination and offers various sights and experiences. Munnar's main attractions remain its lush, lush tea plantations. The place has many attractions like Echo Point, Photo Point, and Pothamedu View Point. Other top attractions in Munnar include Attukal, Cheeyappara, and Valara Falls.
