History

Mahasamund is a city in Chhattisgarh, India, located in the Mahasamund District. It is the state's tenth biggest city and one of the most significant. The city is the largest city in the TransMahanadi area, with 30 districts and 5 districts. It is also the Mahasamund district's administrative center and a component of the proposed new Mahasamund municipal corporation.  This region served as the capital of "South Kosal," which was controlled by the "Emperor of Somavancia," as well as an academic center. The region was prominently inhabited by several tribes since ancient times. The city had a significant cultural heritage with temples and fairs to attract visitors throughout the year.

Silpur's location is on top of all the internationally known historical sites in the South Xhosa province, which is now Chhattisgarh. Silpur, located on the banks of the San Mahanadi River, is completely immersed in culture and architecture. Sirpur later called Shripur was the capital of South KhoseDue to the important original experiments and the value of religious and spiritual knowledge and science, Sirpur occupies a very special place in the history of Indian art. Tribal culture, tribal festivals, and festivals are part of life.
