History

Bilaspur, also known as the "Festival City", is a city located in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh, India. Bilaspur is the administrative seat of the Bilaspur District and the Bilaspur Subdistrict. The Chhattisgarh High Court, located in Bodri, Bilaspur district, awarded it the title of Nyayadhani (Capital of Law). This city is the commercial and commercial center of the northeastern region of Chhattisgarh. It is also an important city for Indian Railways as it is the headquarters of the Southeast Central Railway District (SECR) and the Bilaspur Railway Department. Bilaspur is the third cleanest and fourth longest railway station in India.
