History
Legends attribute the origin of Namsai in Arunachal Pradesh to the mythical king Putrika. He used magic to create Nansai for Queen Patali of Arunachal Pradesh, which literally means trumpet flower, making it ancient. The name is pataligram. It is said that the name of the city is to commemorate the Queen’s eldest son Pataliputra. In Sanskrit, mourning means a person, and Putra means a son. From the perspective of scientific history, the story of Nansai in Arunachal Pradesh can be traced back to 490 BC. He chose a site on the banks of the Ganges and strengthened the area. Since then, the city has had a continuous history, and few cities in the world hold this record. The death of Sakyamuni in the last year of his life indicates a bright future here and the destruction of floods, fires and disputes.
Facts & Culture
Although Namsai does not use farm animals and machinery, their systems for growing and cultivating wet rice are very extensive. UNESCO recommends that the Apatani Valley be included in the World Heritage List or its "extremely high productivity" and its "unique" ecological protection methods. They have two main festivals: Dree and Myoko. The Dray Farm Festival in July is a prayer to celebrate the harvest and prosperity of all mankind. Paku, Ittu, Piree Dance, etc. It is the main cultural program during the festival. The Apatani is one of the most important ethnic groups in the Eastern Himalayas. The tribe is known for its colorful culture, various festivals, intricate hand weaving, canes and bamboo crafts, and a vibrant traditional village committee called Bulyañ. This makes the Jiluo River Basin a living example of the cultural landscape: under the sign of traditional customs and spiritual belief systems. The southwest region is a charming and peaceful place with a pagoda. The area is inhabited by peaceful people belonging to the Kempty and Simphos tribes. Each tribe/community has its own unique, rich traditions.
